Installation Precautions
To avoid premature damage to the new pump, the contaminants in the fuel tank should be removed before installation and a new filter should be replaced. In order to avoid fire, when removing and installing the fuel pump, the negative wire of the battery should be disconnected first. The fuel pump should be handled with care during transportation and installation, and the fuel pump that has fallen should not be used. It is strictly forbidden to operate the electric fuel pump without oil.

1. Preparation work
Before proceeding with all removal and installation work, disconnect the power supply for more than 90 seconds. Relieve the pressure of the fuel system. Remove the top cover of the fuel tank filter to relieve the pressure of the fuel system. Remove and keep the battery negative lead disconnected.

2.Disassemble the fuel pump assy
(1) Thoroughly clean the area around the fuel pump assembly device to avoid fuel contamination.
(2) Remove the fasteners that fasten the fuel pump device in the fuel tank, and remove the fuel pump assembly. Be careful not to contaminate the fuel tank or leave items in the fuel tank.
(3) The disassembled assembly cannot be placed randomly, it must be placed on clean paper or in a professional container.
(4) When handling the fuel pump assembly, be especially careful not to bend or damage the float and resistor. Bending or damaging these items will cause inaccurate fuel tank fuel readings.

3. Replace the fuel pump assembly
Check for oil leaks. After confirming that the circuit, oil circuit, fasteners, and accessories are restored to their original state, power on and test run.
Reconnect the battery negative cable. Insert the ignition key, turn the switch to ON (don't start the engine!) and wait for 10 seconds.
Check whether the fuel is leaking. If a leak is detected, turn off the ignition switch immediately.
If no leak is detected, start the engine, and the full engine start may continue until the air in the fuel tank is cleared. Complete the replacement of the fuel pump assembly.
