About this item

  • The Spitfire HD Gen II 3x prism scope is built for rapid transitions while still being usable even without illumination. The streamlined look and flush mount turret design makes for a smaller, lighter, and faster optic.
  • The updated optical design and fully multi-coated lenses provide improved resolution, and cuts chromatic aberration. The prism design and etched reticle solve the distortion problems for users plagued by astigmatism.
  • The BDC-4 reticle is built for holdovers out to 650 yards while offering 12 brightness settings; the lowest two settings being ultra-low for use with night-vision equipment.
  • The Spitfire HD Gen II prism sight can be mounted at two heights, lower 1/3 co-witness or a “low” mount option.
  • Nitrogen purged, the Spitfire HD Gen II is waterproof, shockproof and fogproof; standing up to whatever you throw at it.
  • Backed by our unlimited, unconditional, lifetime, VIP Warranty. A fully transferable promise to repair or replace your item if it becomes damaged/defective. Does not cover loss, theft, deliberate damage or cosmetic damage that doesn't hinder performance.

Leaner and featuring a redesigned HD optical system for a significantly smaller, lighter solution, the new Spitfire HD Gen II models let you choose your ideal mounting height while cutting inches and ounces off the original platform. Now with night vision compatibility, it’s a user's dream come true, running on a BDC-style reticle designed for quick holdovers at known distances to keep you locked on target. Plus, the prism design and etched reticle give you ultra-fast target while still functioning without illumination, and the turrets are exposed—no more caps, no more snags.

Powering Up/Illumination

Press the up (+) or down (-) button to turn on the illumination. Press and hold the up (+) or down (-) button for three seconds to turn illumination off.

To adjust the illumination:

The Spitfire HD Gen II sight offers 12 brightness settings, the lowest two settings being ultra-low for use with night-vision equipment. Adjust the brightness by tapping the up (+) or down (-) button. The sight will return to the last used brightness setting when turned on.

Reticle Focus

1. After mounting the sight, point the sight at a blank white wall or up at the sky.

2. Starting with the fast-focus eyepiece all the way in, glance through the optic. If the reticle is not in focus, rotate the eyepiece out counter clockwise slightly, and look through the optic again.

3. Repeat this process until the reticle is in sharp focus.

Turret Adjustments

The Spitfire HD Gen II features dial adjustments and a reticle scaled in Minute of Angle – MOA. 1 MOA will always subtend 1.047" for each 100 yards of distance. Your optic will have 1 MOA clicks. Each click moves your point of impact roughly 1" at 100 yards, and a 1/4" at 25 yards.

To adjust the settings:

• Turn the elevation or windage dial in the appropriate direction as indicated by the arrows. Rotate the dials in the direction you wish the point of impact to go.
